BLÜME Marketing Campaign
For the up-and-coming artist, BLÜME, and his debut album Awaken, My Love, our team's first objective was to come up with a brand image. We very quickly settled into an artistic and abstract aesthetic with particular emphasis on flowers, as well as making the color palette mostly different shades of pink and green. These elements can be spotted throughout our entire marketing plan, be it our presentation, merch designs (as seen below), or even the music video produced for one of the songs in the album, "Me and Your Mama."
Concerning the actual campaign, our team brainstormed and compiled various different live and digital advertising as well as product sales that we would like to include. Organizing the copious amount of ideas that we came up with to make sure this album reaches as many people as possible was probably the most challenging part of our process. We had to condense some information and unfortunately also let go of some suggestions altogether. In the end, we came up with a plan that everyone agreed with.
Regarding our live events, we scheduled live performances on The Tonight Show and NPR Tiny Desk Concert. We will also be doing a pop-up shop on the day the album is released where the merchandise will be sold and fans can interact with BLÜME. Our digital advertising will be on Spotify, social media such as Instagram, micro-influencers on Tik Tok, the music video released on YouTube, and BLÜME's own website. Furthermore, we will have BLÜME do some interviews on some smaller podcasts with loyal followers. All our merchandise will be found on BLÜME's official website or on the pop-up shop done on the album's launch day.
